This March I wanted to start a project which I named “Liminal World”. My project was supposed to be a mosaic of stories all about the process of immigration and everything person goes through while living in between two worlds. I am drawn to this topic, because I feel like I’ve been in some sort of immigration my whole life. I love to talk about it, I love to ask question, I love hearing others talking about their journey. So, last year, when I was preparing for my project, I reached out to my friends and asked them to join me in this conversation. I believed that our stories would be interesting for many people and helpful for those who are or will be facing this experience.
But, since you all know, this very March, in just few days our planet went upside down. Our lives changed in a day. I left my project aside and as everybody else I did my best to reorganize myself and took care of the things which overnight became new norm: working from home, home schooling my kid, balancing work and family life, practicing social distancing etc.
It took me few weeks and sometime in middle of April I came to understand one thing which gave me the motive, the strength and the reason to start an online conversation about mine/yours/ours new immigration(transformation).
Everything about it, from now on you can follow on my YouTube channel: Liminal World.
I am truly thankful to the ones who accepted my invitation, trust me and support me in my endeavour.
YOU are the greatest!( as James Blunt already said in his beautiful song).

While we’re all waiting for this new world to unfold itself, I think we should use this unique opportunity to bridge the distance between us and create the world of interconnectedness, mutual respect and understanding. It’s on us to create it. Let’s begin.
If you know that you can contribute in this moment, please send me a message on info@natasacecezsekulic.com. Let me know who you are, where do you come from and the details of the story you’d like to bring up. I will take your presence into consideration. Thank you.
See you all in my Liminal World!
